Business Analyst (Remote)

ICF is looking for an experienced Business Analyst capable of thriving on a scrum-based agile software development team. Your primary role in this team is to translate, communicate, and document healthcare business, data, and policy requirements so that the development team can understand customer and user needs in the form of implementable and testable stories. You will be part of a highly talented, dynamic development team that will be using a set of modern technologies, human-centered design, and DevOps approaches. This position is open to a mid-level to principal professional depending on experience.

Our core work hours are 10am - 4pm Eastern Time with the option to start earlier or work later depending on your time zone.

Responsibilities:

Research and document business, data, and policy requirements and confirming them with customers, users, and other stakeholdersCollaborate with the customer and team leadership to breakdown the roadmap epics and features into storiesProvide leadership by proactively communicating with customers, users, and other stakeholders to ensure needs are being addressed and cross-team dependencies are identifiedProvide support and guidance to customers, users, and other stakeholdersProactively contribute to the quality of the product by seeking and proposing new or alternative approaches to address the requirementsValidate that product deliveries meet customer requirements and drive product demosRepresent the customer and users during backlog grooming sessions and internal demosWork with the Product Owner, customers, and developers to write stories which are independent, negotiable, valuable, estimable, small, and testableResponsible for ensuring stories include validation criteria which reasonably covers all areas necessary for complete testing of the new functionalityCollaborate with developers during their design and development efforts to provide support for their analysis of storiesCoordinate between frontend and backend development teamsAssist the quality assurance team with design of test scenarios for storiesParticipate as a member of the development team and engaging in Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Scrum Meetings, and other agile activitiesMinimum Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years experience as a Business Analyst or related technical roleBachelor’s Degree1+ years' experience with JIRA, Confluence, and the rest of the Atlassian suiteCandidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearanceCandidate must have resided in the US 3 of the last 5 years, be authorized to work in the US, and work must be performed in the USProfessional Skills:

Flexible and adaptable to changing requirements and prioritiesExperience on an agile software development teamExcellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detailPreferred Qualifications:

Experience working in the healthcare industryExperience with APIs and Web ApplicationsExperience with data analysis and relational databasesFederal Government contracting work experiencePrior experience working remotely full-timeJob Location: This position requires that the job be performed in the United States. The pay range for this position is:
