The Assistant Director of Executive Programs is involved in the areas of marketing,recruiting, operations, and administrative support for graduate executive programsin the Davis College.Duties/Responsibilities

Create a concierge-style experience for all Executive Program students, starting withapplicants to the program and including alumni relations.Oversee planning and execution of executive weekends to ensure a high level of servicefor students.Develop effective communication strategies and maintain a high level of quality communicationwith all pertinent stakeholders, especially executive students, prospective students,and faculty/staff.Program planning, budgeting, enhancement and expansion.Develop and implement marketing plan.Develop and implement recruiting plan.Work closely with the Graduate Admission Counselor in the recruitment of the ExecutiveProgram candidates by conducting information sessions for prospective students, participatingin open houses, and communicating with alumni about recruitment events.In close collaboration with others, provide general oversight of the Executive Programsto include, but not limited to: developing cohort schedule, ordering books and supplies,coordinating meals, assisting with lodging, planning international travel.Work closely with program leadership to advise students in executive and other graduateprograms.Maintain and monitor program budgets.Plan and execute orientations and other events for the Executive Program students,prospective students, and alumni.Work closely with the graduate committee and DBA Council in recommending policy changes.Assist in preparing the Davis College of Business and Technology for AACSB and SACSaccreditation, including creation and maintenance of assessment results and facultyqualifications.Assist with Executive Administrative Support in the graduate office, particularlyfor the Associate Dean (e.g., scheduling meetings).Required Skills/Abilities

Excellent critical thinking skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Word, ExcelAbility to use discretionary judgmentStrong interpersonal and organizational skillsMust be able to work independently, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks.Competency in event planningEducation, Certificates, Licenses, & Experience

3 years of relevant work experienceMBA or Master’s degree preferredBusiness experience strongly preferredExperience with high-level executive contact highly desirablePhysical Requirements

Must be able to bend, stoop, and reach.Manual dexterity to efficiently operate a computer keyboard and other business machines.Near vision sufficient to read written communications and computer display screens.Adequate hearing to communicate effectively in person and by phoneStandard office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.Work is primarily indoors, but requires traveling outdoors between campus buildings.Typical office-related noise such as telephones and copy machines can be expected.Must be willing to work evenings and weekends as needed.This is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, and/or skills requiredfor this position.
