What you'll do:- The IT Asset Management (ITAM) Director is responsible for overseeing the lifecycle management of IT assets across the organization, including those that are operated by cloud service providers.- Define, implement, and monitor controls, procedures, and processes for the procurement, deployment, maintenance, and disposal of technology hardware and software assets.- Strategic thinker with excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills to ensure effective asset management program.

What we are looking for:Strategic Planning:

Develop and implement a comprehensive IT asset management strategy. Align IT asset management practices with the organization's strategic objectives and risk appetite.Lifecycle Management:

Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of IT assets from acquisition to disposal. Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of IT asset inventory including licenses, warranties, service agreements, and versions to ensure compliance with contracts and internal standards.Procurement and Vendor management:

Ensure effective oversight of vendors and suppliers who provide and/or operate IT Assets. Ensure agreements clearly outline vendors and supplier's asset management responsibilities.Compliance and governance:

Establish Asset Management standards and ensure compliance by internal teams and applicable 3rd parties. Implement, maintain, and enforce IT asset management policies, procedures, and best practices.Financial Management:

Develop and manage the IT asset management budget, identifying opportunities for efficiencies and optimization. Contribute to cost efficiencies through reporting of product and version compliance.Team Leadership:

Lead and mentor a team of asset management professionals. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and collaboration.

Education:Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business Administration, or related fieldMaster's degree or relevant certifications (e.g. ITIL, CSAM) is preferred

Experience:Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in IT Asset Management or a related field/responsibilityProven experience in a leadership role with responsibility for IT Asset Management

Qualifications:Strong knowledge of IT Asset Management principles, best practices, and risk management practices with direct ServiceNow experience a strong preference.Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communications and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively manage and escalate difficult messages to key stakeholders.Strategic thinker with the ability to see the big picture and manage risk at an enterprise level.Detail-oriented and with strong organizational skills.Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and urgency.
