Position Overview:Looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Estimator with a solid background in multi-residential construction projects. As a Senior Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the pre-construction phase, ensuring accurate cost estimates and providing valuable insights to support decision-making processes. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of the projects, while maintaining a commitment to delivering projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

Perform detailed cost analysis and prepare comprehensive estimates for multi-residential construction projects.

Collaborate with the project management team to review project plans, specifications, and design drawings to ensure accurate estimation.

Analyze project requirements and identify potential risks, opportunities, and value engineering solutions.

Source and obtain competitive pricing from subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with project specifications.

Prepare and present detailed estimates, including breakdowns of materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.

Collaborate with the procurement team to negotiate and finalize subcontractor and supplier contracts.

Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and material costs to ensure accurate cost estimations.

Participate in project meetings to provide expertise and support in cost-related matters.

Review and evaluate change orders and their impact on project costs.

Mentor and provide guidance to junior estimators, sharing knowledge and best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.

Proven experience as an Estimator in multi-residential construction projects, with a focus on medium to large-scale developments.

Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry practices.

Proficient in estimating software and tools (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, ProEst, etc.).

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.

Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and build relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
