Become a part of our caring community and help us put health firstThe Humana Enterprise Operations Enablement (EOE) - CPSS Data & Analytics - BI (Business Intelligence) team is a high performing team focused on data, data visualization and data science supporting Humana's Service Operations. The team is focused on converting data to actionable insights for our business partners who can utilize to reduce administrative cost and improve the customer's experience. The Senior Business Intelligence Engineer position will be supporting BI work for our Medicare organizations.Responsibilities:Develops and maintains robust T-SQL queries and stored proceduresDesigns and implements scalable data models to support business intelligence and analytics requirements.Utilizes Power Platforms (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate) to create interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations.Collaborates with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications.Performs data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business performance improvements.Presents findings and recommendations to leadership in a clear and concise manner.Mentors junior team members and provide technical guidance and support as needed.Required Qualifications:5 or more years of strong Data Analytics experience5 or more years of technical experience in SQL with advanced experience in T-SQLAdvanced skills in reporting tools such as SSRS or SAP Crystal ReportsExperience in the development of interactive reports using Power BI, Qlik, Tableau and/or similar productIntermediate skills in Power Apps and Power AutomateAdvanced data analytics skills and reporting experience to include working with large complex data sets within large organizationsExperience analyzing data to solve a wide variety of business problems and create data visualizations that drive strategic directionExpertise in Microsoft Office applications Word, Excel, Access, and/or PowerPointProficiency in verbal and written communication to senior and executive leadershipProven experience with consulting with and building relationships with business partnersCritical thinker who can anticipate team needs and take initiative to present ideas, ask the right questions and deliver the highest quality workSelf-starter that can work independently with minimal direction and takes ownership and anticipates future consequences and trends accuratelyDemonstrated ability to communicate technical information to non-technical professionalsPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Computer Science, finance, Statistics, Economics or related fieldExperience working with Claims, Billing and Reconciliation or related healthcare dataExpertise in creating analytics solutions for various healthcare sectorsPrior or recent experience in conducting forecasting or trend analysisProcess Improvement methodology experience or Agile methodology experienceExperience creating and maintaining SSIS packagesProcess documentation and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) experienceScheduled Weekly Hours:

40Pay Range:

$78,800 - $108,500 per year. This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.Description of Benefits:
