RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for managing all leave administration and processing workers compensation claims. Must stay up to date on current labor relations laws and requirementsOversee performance management reviews with hiring managersPerforms routine tasks required to administer and execute various human resource programs including compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for hourly open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.Develops and manages employee activity events.Assists in developing and distributing employee communication messages.This position has no employee management responsibilities.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree from an accredited university is preferred10+ years of Human Resources experience is requiredPrevious manufacturing experience is strongly preferredWorking knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, federal and state respective employment law is requiredPHR Certification is preferredMS Office Suite: Word, Excel, & Outlook
