The ideal candidate would have experience creating offer letters, background checks, new hire orientation, workers' compensation, benefits, HR Management experience, and ADP WFN experience.If you want a fun, fast-paced, diverse, enterprising, and exciting work environment that strives for an excellent work-life balance, join our expanding team!Job Summary:The Human Resource (HR) Manager will run the daily functions of the Human Resource department, including onboarding staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and implementing and enforcing HR and Company policies and practices.Supervisory Responsibilities:Oversee the scheduling, assignments, and daily workflow of subordinate staff in the department.May assist with constructive and timely performance evaluationsDuties/Responsibilities:Collaborates with the Recruiting Team to understand skills and competencies required for openings.Coordinate interviews and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions.Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.Leads HR-related tasks for onboarding of new staff.Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs, including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; workman's compensation claims; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.Performs regular audits and reviews to ensure all employee-related information in HR systems is current and accurate, including benefits, deductions, PTO balances, licenses, and certifications; required HR training; and other employment-related information.Leads and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices.Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and practices to maintain compliance.Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.Performs other duties as assigned.Required Skills/Abilities:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems. Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now preferred.Education and Experience:A bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field is required.At least 5-7 years of human resource management experience preferred.PHR/SPHR preferred.
