The Towne Vacations Corporate Controller will be responsible for managing the accounting and financial reporting for both consolidated and local companies in accordance with U.S. GAAP, SEC, and regulatory requirements for Towne Vacations and subsidiaries. Additionally, this role will lead the Vacations SOX compliance efforts and work with the key stakeholders at each company to ensure accounting process are documented and followed, risks have been identified, assessed, and documented in accordance with SOX requirements.Coordinates with the Managing Director, CFO, Vacations Corporate leadership, Company General Managers & Corporate and Company Accounting teams, Bank Corporate Accounting, Tax, Internal Audit and other groups in managing the accounting, financial reporting, and other needs for Towne Vacations.Responsibilities:Act as an advisor to each company to monitor financial performance, assists leadership with growth and business strategies, including development of measurements for strategic and operating plans, and improving financial performance. • Assist in managing accounting operations, review of tracking metrics, and participates in and manages the month-end/quarter-end close processes.Assist each company in preparing the annual budget and prepares the consolidated budget for corporate review, ensure forecasts are updated monthly/quarterly, monitor and prepare monthly/quarterly variance analysis at the corporate and company level. • Partner with accounting/finance and business stakeholders across various teams to provide guidance on technical accounting issues. • Develop with leadership templates to monitor and report financial and/or key strategic initiatives results for tracking company performance.Collaborate with leadership team to develop and maintain accurate dashboard information that uses data from various systems, ensuring completeness and accuracy of data. Distribute as appropriate to leadership/companies/others, including follow up of any actions required.Review classification of revenue and expenses for appropriateness across local companies including recommendations to further align general ledgers, provide insights, make, and implement recommendations.Review trends on the balance sheet and income statement, discuss, and address findings.Participate in the evaluation and implementation of accounting and reporting standards, including the refinement of current practices, policies, and procedures. • Record purchase accounting transactions, assist in significant business transactions, including M&A due diligence, valuation, and integration. • Lead the Vacations SOX compliance efforts and work with the key stakeholders at each company to ensure accounting process are documented and followed, risks have been identified, assessed, and documented in accordance with SOX requirements.Evaluate, challenge, and maintain accounting policies and procedures, including the assessment of existing SOX process narratives for adequacy and consistency.Assist companies in corporate accounting and all pertinent GAAP, SEC rules and regulationsEnsure effectiveness of internal controls around financial reportingWork across the organization to ensure compliance with Bank policies and regulatory requirements • Participate in bank examinations, regulatory requests, and internal and external audits.Plan, organize, and execute various leadership initiatives together with other team members, including various system conversions, joint ventures, and/or acquisitionsManages, trains and supervises corporate and company team members, contributes meaningfully to their developmentOther duties and special projects as requestedManage multiple priorities, prioritizes and meet deadlines across the organizationPosition will primarily be in the office and include some travel and site visits.

Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Master’s Degree Accounting/Finance a plus • Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience, Big 4 experience preferred • Licensed CPAExperienced manager with excellent analytical and project management abilities • Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, prioritization, and interpersonal skills to work across multiple teams within the organization • Experience in effectively meeting Sarbanes Oxley requirementsStrong GAAP and technical accounting skills • Ability to learn and understand multiple systems • Proficient in Microsoft Office ApplicationsPreferred Experiences:Consolidation, Joint Venture, Intercompany, and Acquisition accounting experience strongly preferred • Public Company/Property Management/Hospitality industry experience strongly preferred •Office Connect and Excel pivot table, Analytics experience preferredEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
