Your key responsibilities
Manages innovation program of alcohol boosting, ensuring technical development is designed, planned, tracked, and executed on-time and on-budget to meet agreed objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
Builds and executes a stage gate process innovation project from scratch, and/or picks-up existing projects and/or workstreams and be able to progress and complete with an existing or newer vision: manage, structure or restructure, set objectives, milestones, tasks, deliverables, and overall project tracking (tasks, milestones, and resources) with defined timelines. Be able to manage projects and teams virtually across borders.
Be able to understand, interpret, digest, analyse and communicate scientific and technical results, data and findings (creation, application, sensory, consumer and S&R analytical data).
Integrate technical and scientific data and findings, into an innovation program with a vision.
Be able to fluently speak, write, understand, and present in English.Formal and informal communications and coordination of technical team. Updates of progress/results to technical team, extended technical team (S&R, GRS, etc.), innovation organization, strategic business units, regions, and customers.
Develop technical innovation partnerships with customers, suppliers and partners and ensure close collaboration and alignment with other technical leads. Maintains and develops communication network with the regions and affiliates.

You bring
University degree in Science or Engineering, (preferably a Masters or Ph.D.) in Food Science, Chemistry, Food Chemistry, Food Technology or related area.
At least 10 years of relevant working experience on Innovation, R&D, Project Management preferably with a Global Food or Beverage CPG company, or with a Flavor and Fragrance company; Alcoholic Beverage Industry experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
Be able to fluently speak, write, understand, and present in English (Mandatory); another foreign language is an advantage but not required.
Experience in project management, rigorous, with a strong analytical mindset and excellent problem-solving skills. PMP certification is an asset; formal training or highly experienced on PM is a must. Experience managing and been part of a multidisciplinary global innovation or R&D project.
Good knowledge of global consumer trends of alcoholic beverages is desired. Competition knowledge is an asset. Familiar with the regulatory and legal environment of alcoholic beverages and ingredients.
Must know basic MS software (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook, other), and Project Management Softwares ie. MS Project, Project Libre, or similar.
