WHO YOU AREYour role as our

Regional Sales Manager - Building Division, Northeast

drives sales growth for the division through the management of all interfaces with residential and commercial builders, builder’s designers, and architects, in the new construction market.Road Warrior, travelling about 40% of the time across multiple US territories in the Northeast including New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Maryland, Delaware, West Virginia, Northern Virginia, Maine, Vermont and New Hampshire.WHAT YOU WILL DOCoordinate all business efforts with single family and multi-family commercial builders, builder designers, and architectsManage, implement and promote the overall Building Division sales strategy and communicate with the appropriate sales personnel both internal and external as well as with the subcontractor baseWork with VP of Sales, National Sales Manager, Regional Managers & independent representatives as well as our financial team to develop programs and agreements appropriate for maintaining and growing ClosetMaid' s market shareWorks in conjunction with National & Regional sales personnel in order to provide supervision of external independent rep agentsMaximize the growth and profitability of our overall business relationshipsWork with team on builder contractsResponsible for the follow up of builder and architect leads from various eventsDeliver effective presentations and demonstrations in order to show customer benefitsREQUIREMENTSBachelor’s Degree3-5 years of progressive experience in Sales and/or marketingDemonstrated success selling to builders/ architects/ designersAbility to prioritize and organizeCapable of working with limited supervisionSuperior leadership, competitive spirit and desire to winStrong strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities necessaryContribute to effective team output through cooperation, participation and commitment to shared vision and goalsEngage effectively with local sales teams in order to manage customersExperienced with CRM systemMicrosoft Office-Excel-Intermediate, Word, Power Point, OutlookWORK AUTHORIZATIONThe AMES Companies will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States.
