Job Overview: A law firm in Wilmington, DE, is seeking a Mid-Level Associate Attorney with 4-7 years of experience in complex finance transactions. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in sponsor-backed leveraged finance and representing borrowers, lenders, and/or agents in various finance transactions.Duties:Serve as a key member of deal teams, responsible for fundamental aspects of transactions from due diligence through closing.Conduct legal research and analysis related to finance transactions.Draft, review, and negotiate finance documents and agreements.Provide legal advice and guidance to clients regarding finance matters.Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals to achieve client objectives.Requirements:4-7 years of experience with complex finance transactions.Experience in sponsor-backed leveraged finance preferred.Experience representing borrowers, lenders, and/or agents in various finance transactions.Must be licensed and in good standing in Delaware.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the Delaware State Bar.Skills:Strong understanding of finance law and transactions.Excellent legal research and analytical skills.Proficient drafting, reviewing, and negotiating skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
