The ideal candidate will have 4 - 7 years of experience in complex finance transactions, focusing on sponsor-backed leveraged finance. They should be proficient in representing borrowers, lenders, and/or agents across various finance transactions.Duties:
Participate as a key member of deal teams, handling fundamental aspects of transactions.Manage due diligence processes thoroughly and efficiently.Assist in drafting and negotiating transaction documents.Conduct legal research and analysis as required.Provide strategic advice and guidance to clients throughout the transaction process.Collaborate effectively with other attorneys and professionals within the firm.Requirements:
4 - 7 years of experience in complex finance transactions.Substantial experience in sponsor-backed leveraged finance is preferred.Experience representing borrowers, lenders, and/or agents in finance transactions.Must be licensed and in good standing in NC.Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Certifications:
Admission to the State Bar of North Carolina.Skills:
Strong understanding of finance and corporate law principles.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in legal research and writing.Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively.
