The Mid-Level Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling complex finance transactions, with a focus on sponsor-backed leveraged finance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience representing borrowers, lenders, and/or agents in various finance transactions. They will play a crucial role in deal teams, overseeing fundamental aspects of transactions from due diligence to closing.Duties:
Manage and execute complex finance transactions, particularly in sponsor-backed leveraged finance.Represent borrowers, lenders, and/or agents in various finance transactions.Act as a key member of deal teams, taking responsibility for essential transactional elements.Conduct thorough due diligence processes to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.Provide legal counsel and guidance on corporate and finance matters.Requirements:
4-7 years of experience in handling complex finance transactions.Extensive experience in sponsor-backed leveraged finance.Proven track record representing borrowers, lenders, and/or agents in finance transactions.Strong understanding of corporate and finance law.Licensed and in good standing with the Virginia State Bar.Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:
Licensed to practice law in Virginia.Skills:
