Labor and Employment Attorney

A law firm in Baltimore, MD, seeks a highly experienced Labor and Employment Attorney with at least 5 years of experience in the private and public sectors. The ideal candidate should possess a strong book of business, although exceptional candidates without one will also be considered. The firm is open to candidates with plaintiff- and employer-side experience. Multi-practice experience in labor and employment law, litigation, business, or transactional law is desirable.Duties:Provide legal advice and representation to clients on labor and employment matters.Handle a diverse caseload involving litigation, arbitration, mediation, and negotiation.Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and contracts.Advise clients on compliance with federal, state, and local labor and employment laws and regulations.Assist in developing and implementing employment policies, procedures, and practices.Represent clients in administrative proceedings before agencies such as the EEOC, NLRB, and DOL.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Active membership in the Maryland State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing labor and employment law.Demonstrated experience in both private and public sector matters.A strong book of business is preferred but not required.Experience in plaintiff- and/or employer-side representation is advantageous.Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in legal research and writing.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Active membership in the Maryland State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.Skills:Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local labor and employment laws.Exceptional research and writing abilities.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Ability to build and maintain client relationships.Proficiency in legal technology and research tools.Multi-practice experience in labor and employment law, litigation, business, or transactional law is a plus.Company infoBCG Attorney Search1629 K ST NW, Suite 300WashingtonDistrict of ColumbiaUnited States 20006Phone :
