Insurance Defense Attorney

A law firm in Baltimore, MD, is seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney with a minimum of 5 years of experience and active bar admission in Virginia. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in insurance defense law and be adept at handling various insurance-related matters.Duties:Provide legal representation to insurance companies and their insureds in defense of bodily injury and property damage claims.Conduct legal research, analyze complex legal issues, and provide timely and accurate legal advice to clients.Prepare and draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents.Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials.Collaborate with clients, claims professionals, and experts to develop and implement case strategies.Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution processes.Manage a caseload efficiently and effectively while meeting deadlines and client expectations.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Active bar admission in Virginia for a minimum of 5 years.Proven experience in insurance defense law, preferably focusing on bodily injury and property damage claims.Strong litigation skills and experience handling all aspects of litigation.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Proficiency in legal research and writing.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Active bar admission in Virginia for a minimum of 5 years.Skills:In-depth knowledge of insurance defense law, including relevant statutes, regulations, and case law.Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.Ability to analyze complex legal issues and develop effective strategies.Proficiency in legal technology and case management software.Strong client management and relationship-building abilities.Experience working with insurance companies and claims professionals is desirable.Company infoBCG Attorney Search1629 K ST NW, Suite 300WashingtonDistrict of ColumbiaUnited States 20006Phone :
