Job Overview:
A law firm is seeking a highly experienced Litigation Of Counsel to join its team in Wilmington, DE. The ideal candidate will have extensive litigation experience, particularly in product liability and complex commercial litigation, with a preference for those knowledgeable in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries.Duties:Communicate effectively with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.Supervise associates and guide on case matters.Work collaboratively with experts in various fields pertinent to litigation cases.Assist in fact development and participate in depositions.Review and draft discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda.Help formulate and execute case strategy.Requirements:Minimum 8+ years of litigation experience, preferably at an AmLaw 100 firm.Expertise in product liability and complex commercial litigation.Familiarity with the pharmaceutical and medical device industry is advantageous.Strong analytical and writing skills with exceptional attention to detail.Sound business judgment and organizational abilities.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.Proficiency in legal research and problem-solving.Conceptual thinking and the ability to influence others persuasively.Management skills to supervise and guide junior associates.Education and Certifications:JD degree from an accredited law school.Strong academic credentials from nationally recognized institutions.Candidates licensed to practice law in New York are encouraged to apply.Admission to practice in Delaware (DE).Skills:Ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines.Efficient and responsive communication skills.Adaptability to engage in physical and sedentary activities as required by the role.Compliance with firm policies and practices.Ability to foster positive work relationships within the firm and externally.Benefits:
