Key Duties/ResponsibilitiesLead business development in an assigned geographic area, spearheading business development initiatives that are consistent with the company’s overall strategy.Develop direct relationships with the customersGuide, develop and secure incremental revenue and market share from new business and existing accounts to achieve profitable volume growth consistent with regional revenue goalsReview market analyses to determine customer needs and volume potentialCustomer onboarding, ensuring seamless transition when beginning to handle new customer freight/tendersJob QualificationsMinimum of 5-7 years transportation/logistics sales experience (preference in intermodal or 3PL)Successful history in sales and business developmentStrong business acumenExceptional oral/written communication skills, time & territory management and able to meet deadlines on a consistent basisConfident, decisive with strong negotiation, problem solving and closing skillsA BA or BS in business transportation/logistics or equivalent is preferred but not requiredPrefered Experience with US Ports and intermodal Rail RampsOffering domestic door-to-door drayage to and from Ports, Rails, and Customer FacilitiesExperience with Chassis, Containers, Drayage, and Services for Imports, Exports, and Domestic moves
