Test Services Staff Engineer

Figure is an AI Robotics company developing a general purpose humanoid. Our Humanoid is designed for corporate tasks targeting labor shortages and jobs that are undesirable or unsafe. We are based in Sunnyvale, CA and require 5 days/week in-office collaboration.We are looking for a Test Services Staff Engineer to lead our Test Services organization.Responsibilities:Collaborate with the Engineering organization to define acceptance test procedures and calibration proceduresDevelop roadmaps, strategies, schedules, and staffing plans to support the Test Services organization activitiesBuild a highly efficient team of test engineers and techniciansDesign, build and maintain automated manufacturing acceptance testers and calibration fixtures for printed circuit boards assemblies (PCBA) and robot subsystemsConduct environmental and reliability tests for the robot hardwareBuild and maintain test platforms to support engineering design verificationProvide test services including board reworks and cable assemblies to support testing and prototypingIdentify gaps and continuously improve processes and solutionsRequirements:Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or related fieldAt least 5 years of management experience in test engineeringHands-on experience with programming, test automation, and pythonHands-on experience designing and testing printed circuit boards assemblies (PCBA)Good understanding of communication buses and protocols like Ethernet, TCP/IP, Ethercat, Serial, CAN or USBExpert using lab instruments (Data acquisition systems, Oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies etc.)Strong verbal and written communication skills
