A law firm in Myrtle Beach, SC, is seeking an experienced General Liability Defense Attorney to join their team. The role involves handling a diverse caseload of litigation matters with a focus on defending clients in general liability cases.Duties and Responsibilities:Manage all phases of litigation from case inception through trial, including drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses.Conduct thorough legal research and provide analysis of complex legal issues related to general liability defense.Represent clients at court hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and mediations.Develop and execute effective case strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.Communicate clearly and effectively with clients, witnesses, experts, and internal team members.Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure efficient case management and client service.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Active Bar membership in good standing in South Carolina.Should have experience practicing law with a strong emphasis on general liability defense.Proven ability to independently manage a diverse caseload.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
