Anchor Light Therapy Collective is proud to offer an internal career advancement opportunity for the position of PCIT (Parent-Child Interaction Therapy) Specialist Candidate. This unique role is designed for a team member who is passionate about advancing their expertise in PCIT, an evidence-based therapy focused on improving the parent-child relationship and modifying problematic interaction patterns. The successful candidate will enter a comprehensive training and certification track, upon completion of which they will be eligible to apply for a full PCIT Specialist role within our collective.
This role is pivotal in addressing the diverse needs of our clients and contributing to our mission of offering holistic mental health support. This initiative reflects our commitment to expanding our services and enhancing our team's skills to better serve our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Engage in intensive PCIT training and certification track, adhering to all requirements, including attending workshops, completing supervision hours, and demonstrating competency in PCIT protocols.Under supervision, conduct PCIT sessions with children and their caregivers, applying learned techniques to foster positive changes in the parent-child relationship.Assess and develop individualized treatment plans for each child and family, consistent with PCIT methodologies.Provide coaching and real-time feedback to parents/caregivers during therapy sessions to enhance their skills in managing child behavior.Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team at Anchor Light Therapy Collective to ensure a holistic approach to client care.Maintain meticulous and confidential records of therapy sessions, assessments, and client progress.Actively contribute to the ongoing development of PCIT services within the collective.Qualifications
Current position within Anchor Light Therapy Collective, effectively managing an existing caseload and in good standing.Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.Demonstrated experience and interest in child psychology, family therapy, and behavioral interventions.Strong commitment to completing the PCIT certification track.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and clinical skills, capable of building trust with children, families, and team members.Sensitivity to diverse cultures, family structures, and backgrounds.Current professional license in the state of practice or eligibility for licensure.Benefits
