What will I bedoing?High-level management and oversight of agency procurement activities utilizing varied best practice procurement methods with a large focus on the Request for Proposal method.Review and/or develop specifications/scope of work for agency solicitationsDevelop complex requests for proposals and other solicitations and manage the solicitation through contract awardProvide guidance and training to lower-level procurement team membersBe the subject matter expert of the procurement process and ensure compliance with internal and external procurement policy and procedure and regulations
KeyQualificationsAbility to work under pressure, under tight deadlines, and manage conflicting prioritiesApplicable experience may substitute for educationExtensive experience in complex procurements of commodities and complex servicesExtensive background in commodity procurement of varied types and extensive knowledge in large bid tabulationsIn depth knowledge of governmental bidding and solicitation practices along with OMB standardsExperience with accounting and purchase order softwareProficiency in all Microsoft Office suite of applications
Do you have...Bachelor's degree in an applicable academic discipline orrelatedfield of study5years of experienceworking with local government, nonprofit programs, schools, or in job-related duties
