Position: Electro-Mechanical Assembler

Duration: 3+ months contract
pay rate $21/hr on w2

Job Description:
Conduct assembly, alignments, and final configurations of components.Conduct Assembly work applying prescribed methods using a variety of hand tools, fixtures, and test equipment.Collect test data, use databases and other office programs to document the manufacturing processParticipate in resolving production challenges and making process decisionsAssist in the selection and/or set-up of specialized equipmentPerform a wide variety of troubleshooting to identify and resolve issuesPerform equipment set-up, calibration, and preventative maintenanceFollow audit and safety guidelinesParticipate in continuous process improvement.How will you get here?
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience:
1 year of manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience preferredBackground in precision mechanical assembly and low-volume, sophisticated manufacturing processes preferredExperience in lean manufacturing, 6S and continuous improvement a plusPrevious assembly experience in a Clean Room environment is a plusExperience with Windows-based and MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Division-Specific Outlook and Access)Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Demonstrated ability in Efficiently working in a Team of 8-10 colleaguesAbility to use appropriate PPEAbility to analyze and address problems independently as well as collaborativelyAbility to support projects, perform training and work efficiently low volume as part of cohesive teamsSelf-motivated, self-starter with strong organizational skillsAbility to lift-up to 35lbsStrong verbal and written communication skills, successful in partnering with colleagues of differing cultural, language, and educational backgrounds
