JOB DESCRIPTION
Level I trauma - 886 beds
Schedule-D/E/N ROTATING SHIFT SCHEDULES, Every Other Weekend (EOW), Holidays/On-Call/Callback/Charge per Unit Needs
URMC will consider 48 hours straight time
Through clinical practice, service excellence, professional development, and research and evidence based practice,The Level II Registered Nurse, under the direction of the Nurse Manager, is accountable for provision of competent care based on established standards.The Level II Registered Nurse assumes an expanded role, which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.Must have: peritoneal dialysis (PD) and be competent in the following: heparin power flush, PD cultures, manual filling and draining and experience with the Baxter Amia machine
QUALIFICATIONS
BLS and ACLSNational Institutes of Health (NIH)Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.The ability to stand for extended periods.Strong technical skills.Knowledge of medical terminologyPassionate about patient careRequires a minimum of two years of current Dialysis RN Med/Surg Telemetry experience.Graduate from a fully accredited RN programActive unencumbered New York RN state licenseOne year of Epic experienceRequirements
