Position Overview

Apollo is seeking an Analyst to join its Investor Services team. This group manages investor onboarding (in close collaboration with sales and legal), investor inquiries, data quality projects, and technology enhancement recommendations across our Private Equity, Real Assets, and Credit business segments. Beyond investors, Investor Services’ key stakeholders include controllers, sales and marketing, external administrators, and legal.

The Analyst will be primarily responsible for managing data in our CRM (Salesforce) – including ensuring investors receive accurate and timely information, self-service is maximized/dashboards are leveraged throughout the organization, and data-driven insights are regularly shared. This person will be joining a team whose mandate is continuing to grow and will be a collaborative team player to help solve department-wide challenges across the investor lifecycle. S/he will be an integral part of operationalizing and optimizing procedures, as well as improving the client experience with Apollo.

Strong client facing, relationship-building, problem-solving, follow-through, and analytical/data-oriented skillsets are required.

Primary Responsibilities:

Handle growing volume of investor inquiries, including coordination with internal and external stakeholders, to provide timely and accurate responses.

Monitor requests and resolve issues through Salesforce Cases

Update and monitor contact information for existing investors in Salesforce

Leverage self-service tools like reports and dashboards to increase alignment, prioritization, and visibility

Manage reporting requirements from various stakeholders and identify opportunities for improvement/self-service

Work with internal stakeholders to create fund/investor specific reports

Create dashboards, exception reports, and escalation matrices

Continuously assess processes, technologies, and data quality to define and document enhancement requirements

Identify common pitfalls and establish controls to mitigate risks and replace manual efforts.

Manage data quality projects with minimal oversight and strong follow-through

Understand Investor Services Policies & Procedures and identify more intuitive workflows (supported by technology tools).

Work with a team in New York and Mumbai to collaboratively execute on the team’s mandates.

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

3+ years of related technical/data analytics/reporting experience

Bachelor’s degree

Experience with sales operations and associated metrics/reporting

Notable experience with CRM data management

Experience working with technology teams for requirements gathering/UAT

Project management experience, including proactive communication and follow-through

Proven in teamwork, flexibility, rigor, detail orientation, and continuous improvement

Preferred:

Knowledge of Salesforce, eFront, Investran, SQL, VBA Macros, Alteryx, Power BI, MicroStrategy

Basic understanding of fund Accounting/Private Equity/Alternative Investments

Pay Range

$110,000-$125,000

The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed here.
