Job Overview:
A law firm specializing in complex litigation seeks a Mid-level Litigation Associate Attorney to join its Washington, DC office. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of litigation experience, preferably at an AmLaw 100 firm, with expertise in product liability and complex commercial litigation. This role involves managing cases, collaborating with experts, drafting legal documents, and supporting case strategy development.Duties:Communicate effectively with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.Supervise associates and assist with their professional development.Collaborate with experts in various fields relevant to ongoing cases.Assist in fact development and participate in depositions.Review and draft discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda.Contribute to case strategy development and implementation.Requirements:3 years of litigation experience, preferably gained at an AmLaw 100 firm.Experience in product liability and complex commercial litigation.Familiarity with the pharmaceutical and medical device industries and clients.Strong analytical and writing skills with attention to detail.Demonstrated good business judgment and excellent organizational skills.Ability to work collaboratively and independently as part of a team.Exceptional oral and written communication skills.Strong research, problem-solving, and conceptual thinking abilities.Ability to influence others and effectively persuade through communication.Prior management experience and strong project management skills.Education & Certifications:JD degree from an accredited law school.Strong academic credentials from nationally recognized institutions.Admitted to practice in Washington, DC.Skills:Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.Strong project management abilities.Proficiency in legal research tools and software.Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Ability to engage in physical and sedentary activities as required by the role (e.g., working at a computer, participating in digital/virtual meetings).Job Location:Washington, DCBenefits:
