Business Development Representative , your job is to generate sales pipeline, and start the sales process - or in other words, build the foundation of our sales team. As a BDR, you’ll support Checkr’s sales teams through thoughtful prospecting efforts and account research, focusing on generating outbound business pipeline with the ultimate goal of closed won business. BDRs make a major contribution to the Sales Organization by generating millions of dollars of new business pipeline each year.What You'll DoGenerate new business pipeline primarily through outbound prospecting effortsHit and exceed expectations of daily activity metricsCreate interest through multi-channel outbound outreach, including cold calling, LinkedIn and email across net new logos in assigned territoryPartner with Account Executives to identify and source net new pipelineIdentify key decision makers within new accountsGenerate qualified opportunities through a multi-channel approach to outbound prospecting.Work with your manager to create an account penetration plan for your book of business.Demonstrate knowledge of Checkr solutions and value propositions clearly and concisely.Maintain and improve CRM data quality as it relates to your book of business.Partner with Account Executives to build a pipeline of new business opportunities.Perform market research to gather information about prospects.What You'll BringYou have 6+ months experience outbound prospecting in a SDR/BDR role working in alignment with Account Executives, and have shown consistent quota attainment.You have experience being consistently held to expectations around daily activity metrics.You’re a quick learner that is excited to take on challenging projects.You have the ability to multitask and prioritize a large list of accounts.You have experience with CRM tools (e.g.. Salesforce, Hubspot), sales automation tools (e.g. Outreach, Salesloft), and data enrichment/prospecting tools (e.g. ZoomInfo, Linkedin SalesNav, Apollo)You bring a collaborative team mentality to the table.You have the ability to self-motivate, prioritize and manage unstructured time.You’re personable, a clear and direct communicator, and can make connections with both prospects and internal teams at Checkr.You have the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable with change.Preferred QualificationsYou have a track record of success in effectively developing and managing outbound pipeline at a SaaS (Software as a Service) companyYou have created successful outbound email messaging to source your own meetings with prospects.Knowledge of sales methodologies
