Our success and growth have been unparalleled in this space.This role plays a critical role in building and supporting OMNIA Partners Enterprise Data Team to deliver strategic business value to the organization. You will be responsible to design and develop Enterprise Data Warehouse, build and manage data movement jobs and APIs, setting up import and export of external and internal data and manage the same per defined SLAs. Job duties also include analyzing company’s data needs, assembling data from various sources, designing, and developing data management solutions. This is a collaborative position that will partner with both technical and non-technical colleagues to support OMNIA Partners growth strategy, innovative mindset, and commitment to quality.Candidate selected will work in a team environment, managing multiple tasks, accepting responsibility for mission critical systems, meeting deadlines and able to respond to ever-changing business needs and technology to meet the general goals.You will be exposed to the full lifecycle of data at OMNIA Partners and help improve the data culture across the entire company.This job requires in-person presence in our Franklin, TN office location (not a remote job).You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S., now and in the future without sponsorship.Position ResponsibilitiesData Modeling
Design, develop and maintain Data Warehouse and Reporting systems.Create logical and physical data models.Consistently evolve data model & data schema based on business and engineering requirements.Break down complex, ambiguous, abstract requirements and into smaller components, patterns, views, and features.
Data Management
Perform technical analysis and requirements definition with our partners on service integrations.Extract and transform data from disparate sources into internal formats for loading into our platforms.Scrutinize company's present data infrastructure, identify gaps, and develop plans to integrate the current systems with the desired future model.Collaborate with staff in performing data quality, clean-up initiatives and code review.Collaborate with other team members in the execution of large-scale projects.Consult with subject matter experts to document and address data quality issues.Communicate technical and data concepts to non-technical audiences, and business concepts to technical audience.Perform other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested.
Data Operations
Troubleshoot production support issues and restore them per established SLAs.Ensure that the established standards are followed for application architecture, development, documentation, and deployment.
Required Education and SkillsBachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, related technical field, or equivalent work experience.7+ years of experience with data design and development of data structures and ELT processes; with
5+ years of experience working with large scale ELT systems (implementation, strategy, and maintenance)5+ years of experience building clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.2+ years of experience with Alteryx and Tableau/PowerBI; solution development, and integration with existing architecture and data engineering assets.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the company.Strong leadership and team management skills.Strong understanding of quality assurance & data quality principles.Experience with star schema design, dimensional modeling, Kimball methodology.Artificial Intelligence experience is a plus.OMNIA Partners
