Job Summary:

As the Marketing and Communications Manager for Fairmont Mumbai, you will be instrumental in establishing and executing the hotel's marketing strategies and communications plans. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the hotel's brand presence, driving revenue, and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders, media, and guests.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans to promote the hotel's offerings, including accommodations, dining, spa, and events, ensuring alignment with brand objectives.Manage digital marketing campaigns across various platforms (social media, email, PPC) to increase brand awareness and drive direct bookings.Oversee the creation of engaging content for digital and print collateral, including website, social media, brochures, and newsletters.Build and maintain media relations, ensuring positive coverage and managing press releases, media inquiries, and crisis communications.Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Revenue Management, Operations) to support sales efforts and maximize revenue through integrated marketing initiatives.Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and guest feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.Plan and execute memorable events and activations that enhance the hotel's visibility and reputation within the local community and industry.Manage the marketing budget effectively, tracking expenditures and ensuring ROI on marketing investments.Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).Proven experience (5+ years) in hospitality marketing, with a track record of successfully launching and managing marketing campaigns.Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and techniques, including SEO, SEM, social media advertising, and analytics platforms.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging tailored to different audiences.Strategic thinker with a creative mindset and the ability to innovate and adapt in a dynamic environment.Solid organizational and project management skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.Experience in crisis management and media relations is a plus.
