You will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing industry-specific data to help us understand trends, optimize operations, and make informed decisions. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing our proprietary technology tools and improving our service offerings to our stakeholders and customers.Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesCollect and interpret data, analyzing results, and reporting the findings back to relevant stakeholdersDevelop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data qualityAcquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systemsIdentify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data setsFilter and clean data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problemsWork with management to prioritize business and information needsLocate and define new process improvement opportunitiesCollaborate with data engineering and product management teamsBe available for on-call support as neededOther job duties as assignedPreferred QualificationsBS/BA (or higher) in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related degree2+ years of experience in data analysis or a related fieldA service-oriented mindsetExperience working with data engineering teams.Experience working out of a cloud data management platformExperience with Azure CloudProficiency in SQL requiredProficiency in data visualization and exploration tools like PowerBIAdditional working knowledge of Python or Spark is preferredExperience with data modeling, cleansing, and visualization techniquesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to communicate complex data in a simple, actionable wayAbility to work independently and with team members from different backgroundsExcellent attention to detailCompensation And BenefitsBase + VC (based on achieving company goals)BCBS (medical), Delta Dental & VSP (vision)Life insurance, short & long-term disability paid by RPMMaternity & Paternity Leave401(k) with generous employer matchUnlimited PTO - use it!Come as You AreRPM is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
