ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: * Maintain a clean and valid driver's license. * Drive the vehicle into position for loading and unloading. * Load the vehicle with product in manner ensuring goods are properly and securely stowed. * Responsible for keeping district inventory. * Responsible for moving district inventory from school to school on a daily basis in a efficient timely matter. * Load the vehicle with product in manner ensuring goods are properly and securely stowed. * Communicate with office & supervisor throughout the day. * Deliver and unload goods at required site. * Obtain a receipt for goods delivered. * Vehicle check must be done daily. Vehicle report must be completed and submitted weekly. * Hand in all gas receipts/cards upon getting gas. * Must maintain an odometer log daily. * Must clean vehicle at the end of shift. * No other passengers allowed in vehicle unless authorized by supervisor. * Must adhere to all motor vehicle laws and regulations. ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Must adhere to all location policies which include but are not limited to: time of delivery, parking, designated delivery areas and designated driving areas. * Whitsons is not responsible for any traffic violations while you are driving the company vehicle and are on company time. If you receive a traffic violation, you will be responsible for the ticket. * Mandatory: proper uniform attire including hat or hairnet in food prep areas. * Uniform should be kept clean and neat at all times. * Headphones and earpieces are not allowed during business hours. * Present a positive image. * Smile and acknowledge customers by making eye contact. * General Courtesy Required * Must keep working area and vehicle clean and organized at all times. * We strive for 100% satisfaction. WORK ENVIRONMENT: * The work is performed primarily in the vehicle assigned to her/him. * Work requires movement in and out of store rooms and freezers * Exposure to extreme temperatures. * The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud. Mon - Fri 6:30 am - 1:30 pm REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES * High School diploma * Speak, read and write in English required * A driver's license appropriate to the class of vehicle being driven is required. * One year of safe driving experience in professional environment. * Must be cautious of bad weather conditions that can make driving hazardous. * Must be able to carry and lift objects weighing up to 50lbs. * Must perform repetitive movement - side to side, up and down in safe manner.
