LinQuest is seeking a Mission Analytics / Software Engineering Lead to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO. Successful candidates should have experience developing and implementing automation, machine learning, and analysis products to solve various problems across multiple domains. Experience and familiarity with the space domain is preferred.An active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required.ResponsibilitiesDay to day this person will be leading a team of data scientists and analysts and helping them deploy software solutions. This person will also be personally responsible to develop and deploy software tools as well. The role is more software engineering but strong analysis skills are needed to effectively lead analysts.Understanding customer requirements, adjusting development efforts and techniques to meet those requirements, and effectively communicating resultsDeveloping and implementing algorithms, data structures and applications to solve various problems across multiple domainsAbility to coordinate with senior managers and decision makers to identify and solve a variety of problems and to clarify management objectivesMentor junior developers and Operations Research analysts on current software lifecycle best practicesWork as part of a contractor team working alongside a broader team of government and contract staffRequired Skills And ExperienceBachelor of Science degree in operations research, computer science, or related technical field10+ years of experienceExperience with PythonExperience with System DesignExperience developing and implementing automation and AI/ML algorithmsHigh motivation, creativity, and flexibility to work in a dynamic environmentAbility to work well as part of a teamAbility to quickly learn new technologies and development stacks in response to govt customer needsStrong quantitative and analytic abilities to integrate and analyze dataMust have an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibilityPreferred ExperienceA Masters or Ph.D. in operations research, computer science, or a theoretical science field15+ years of experienceExperience in DoD space and joint force programsExperience with the Warp Core and/or Envision platformsExperience with data structures, design patterns, CICD, and system architectureExperience with rational and no-SQL database systemsCompensation:

The salary for this position ranges from approximately $160,000 to $180,000 depending on relevant experience and qualifications.Benefits:
