has interest and ability with both front and backend systems, is curious about infrastructure and wants to get under the hood. This person is a doer, takes initiative and can be counted on for delivery excellence.What will you do?Core Responsibilities And Key Performance ObjectivesContribute to our React front end, designing data visualizations and data portal.Build back-end systems in Python and Node.js (TypeScript) for real-time, historical, and forecasted operational performance data.Develop APIs and microservices for the platform to enhance functionality.Collaborate with cross-functional teams on development projects.Create product documentation, including manuals, procedures, and datasheets.Within Three Months:Knowledge download. Understand our business, architecture, processes and life at LineVision.Provide early contributions to the codebase with hands on keyboard and contributing to manageable tasks.Squad up! Build relationships in your squad, and develop your internal cross-disciplinary network.Within Six Months:Contribute on frontend and backend tasks with support from the team.Collaborate with developers on other squads and functions across the company.Increase ownership of tasks, writing epics and stories based on the work you're assigned.Within a Year and Beyond:Take initiative. Identify, scope and act on opportunities for future efforts.Bring your ideas to the team for discussion, participate at a higher design level.Build Leadership Skills: mentor other engineers, participate in recruiting and hiring efforts, and influence within and outside your team.Stay up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends in software development.What do you need to succeed in this role?Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, or C#.Familiarity with SQL and AWS services (Lambda and serverless computing a plus).Knowledge of Object-Oriented and Functional Programming Paradigms.Experience with algorithms, data structures, and large volumes of time-series data.Excellent remote-team collaboration and communication skills.Passion for improving the efficiency and reliability of the grid.What does joining LineVision mean for you?Impact.
