within our expanding Human Resources team? This exciting opportunity allows you to spearhead our recruiting initiatives, foster strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates, and make a significant impact on policy development and employee engagement.Responsibilities:RecruitingBuild strong partnerships with hiring managers to identify and develop plans for key staffing initiatives, job specifications, duties and responsibilities, competencies, qualifications, and skills requirements.Create and implement innovative recruitment strategies and marketing materials to attract the best applicantsProactively build and maintain talent pipelines through active and passive candidate sourcing, networking, and relationship building within and outside the organization.Cultivate partnerships with universities, industry organizations, and professional networks to enhance talent acquisition efforts and expand candidate networks.Lead the college recruiting process, including planning, coordinating, and attending career fairs and campus events.Develop, post, and maintain consistent job descriptions and advertisements across various platforms.Utilize our internal applicant tracking system to manage candidate applications, track progress, and ensure data accuracy.Screen candidates, coordinate interviews with hiring managers and extend offers.Foster relationship with candidates each step of the way ensuring all candidates have a top-tier experience during the recruiting processTrack, analyze, and report on recruiting metrics to assess effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.Maintain compliance with all federal/state laws and regulationsHR GeneralistAdminister and execute human resource programs including policy development, leave management, disciplinary procedures, and career path development.Manage the performance management system and oversee the annual review process.Update and maintain the employee handbook, ensuring policies are current and aligned with organizational needs.Educate and train managers and staff on HR policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to policies and regulatory requirements.Complete compliance reporting, including EEO/AA and other regulatory filings.Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and advancements in HR technology, talent management, and employment lawQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related fieldMinimum of 4 years HR Generalist with full-cycle recruiting experience in a service-oriented business industry, preferably in the AEC industry working directly with engineering disciplinesExpert knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems, Indeed, and LinkedIn RecruiterPossesses an innate ability to connect with people at all levelsImpeccable attention to detail and ability to work within short timelines with speed and accuracy.Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and navigate in a rapidly changing environment with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.Experience with being the face of HR, representing policies and practices to managers and employees across the organization.Results-oriented, resourcefulness and forward thinking with excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and listening skills.Evaluates existing and proposed methods/processes and makes recommendations as required to maximize effectiveness.Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and TeamsBenefits:At Alliant, we take care of our employees by offering a world-class benefit package including:Competitive salary with bonus opportunitiesGenerous Profit Sharing, ESOP, and 401k contribution programsMedical, Dental, and Vision plansCompany paid Life Insurance, Short-term disability and Long-term disabilityFlexible spending accounts for Medical and Dependent CareWellness Programs & CompetitionsGenerous Annual Leave and Compensatory Time Off programsFlexible SchedulesCasual work environmentPaid Professional Development and TrainingCommunity Involvement/Charity EventsNumerous Employee Focused Events (Lunch & Learns, Office Recreation Room, Quarterly Off-Site Socials, etc.Who we are:Alliant Engineering, Inc., an employee-owned company, is a growing engineering, planning, landscape architecture, and surveying firm with a strong culture of customer service, quality, delivery, and innovation.
