The Director of Sales is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day sales operations for their assigned location. They will also identify objectives, winning strategies and action plans to improve short and long-term sales and earnings by the management of the sales and operations, and the support and development of the sales team.Your day will look like this:Develop sales strategies covering sales, revenue, and expense controls, meeting agreed targets, and promoting the organization’s presence and market share in their area.Promote/sell orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach based on presenting innovative technological solutions.Manage and assign market sectors and/or product lines to the sales team to maximize sales revenues and meet corporate objectives.Make presentations and prepare technical specifications for existing and prospective customers.Evaluate market trends and gather competitive information, identify trends that affect current and future growth of regional sales and profitability.Perform sales activities on major accounts and assists sales personnel in establishing personal contact and report with top echelon decision-makers.Review the sales team’s quotations and discounts as well as the management of expenses and business/financial issues on contracts procedures.Accurately forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly revenue streams.Build and develop a team based on performance and growth targets of the branch.Manage, support and coach the sales team in the day-to-day management.Participate in the hiring and integration of new employees.Supervise the execution of tasks to ensure good health and safety practices for all employeesYour profile:College Degree in Business Administration or Engineering preferablyA minimum of 7 years selling AV, IT or Cellular solutions into various verticalsMinimum of 3 years supervising a teamLow or High Voltage construction experience preferredGood knowledge of Office 365 (Excel, Word)Experience using SalesForceAbility to manage a team.Ability to work independently and within a team.Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently.Good organizational skills and attention to detailTrack record showing B2B sales detailing overall growth.Ability to multi-task with a sense of calm resolveGreat discretion, concern for confidentialityPhysical Requirements:Continually: Sit, walk, speak, and hearContinually: Type, write, and readOccasionally: Stand, carry, reach, lift and push up to 15 lbs.Work Requirements:Time will be spent in an office setting.Flexible work hours to support operations.Typical workweeks standard 40 hours.Environment may be fast paced.Travel within the state requiredOur offer to you:Competitive compensation and group insurance plan401(k) with employer contributionSkills development activities and opportunities for career advancementWork environment conducive to personal health and well-beingEmployee assistance programPaid time off & referral programSolotech is an equal opportunity employer.
