PRIMARY FUNCTION:The Business Development Manager has primary responsibility for directly managing existing customer relationships and seeking new customers in current or adjacent markets. This role will have a key focus on growth and identifying value propositions for our customer base and will also support proposal execution.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Achieve assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in designated accountsDevelop, maintain and expand relationships with key strategic partners, industry leaders, and PCC staff.Identify new customers within designated accounts and regionsMaintain knowledge of market trends, competitive actions, product needs, and customer base to support company objectivesRepresent the entire range of company products and services to customersWork with business units to develop and execute consistent customer strategiesAssist business units with customer account planning & forecastingAssist business units with resolution of customer issuesProvide consistent follow-up and feedback on opportunitiesProactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basisProvide market updates to business units for designated customers and regionsGive high-level presentations to customers and creates sales presentations in support of leadership.Conduct day-to-day sales functions including data mining, spreadsheet modeling, and database entry.Utilize CRM to track opportunities, create sales forecasts and develop sales plansSet-up, coordinate and prepare periodic joint customer reviews with key accounts and fastener sitesOther duties as assignedMINIMUM REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree from an accredited university/college in business or engineering related discipline.Minimum appropriate sales experience (6+ years) in relevant markets with demonstrated results in sales and marketingIn-depth knowledge of the aerospace market preferredDemonstrated organization skills with the ability to plan itineraries, develop programs, write proposals and meet all monthly reporting requirements while traveling as required.Ability to prioritize work and meet competing or short-notice deadlines consistently.Motivated self-starter with ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.Program management skillsProven customer relations skillsContract administration skillsEffective problem-solving skillsStrong oral and written communication skills.Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.Ability to utilize business essential tools, including CRM, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Teams

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $130,000 to $155,000 US Dollar (USD) Salaried based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 3X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 80 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan.

This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)).
