Overview Of the RoleC.A. BUILD is seeking an experienced and driven CPG sales professional to join its Sales Team. The Sales Manager at BUILD is responsible for leading the sales process with national retailers for a portfolio of innovative and growing brands. Their account responsibility is focused on managing a list of accounts that take strategic priority for BUILD clients. Key customers of focus include Publix, Central Market, HEB, Harris Teeter, Ingles, and United. From driving new business to leading the key account management processes, the Sales Manager is in charge of developing strategic go-to-market plans for BUILD clients, selling to key retailers, and leading the execution level steps at all times. In addition, this person has the responsibility of managing broker partners at their key accounts to drive new and existing sales through line extensions, trade promotion execution, etc.Remote; must be local to the Southeast regionTravel Requirements: Up to 10-15%, travel possibilities would include retailer meetings, industry shows, client meetings, and team trainingsWhat You'll Do At C.A. FortuneLead strategic planning discussions with BUILD clients in relation to their go-to-market plansProvide experience-based insights into the best possible approach to driving sales at both existing and new retailer partnersOversee category review process from brand perspectiveNever miss reviews, lead retailer presentations as the head sales representative of the brand, manage broker partners execution throughoutProspect non-review accounts and drive sales via ad hoc meetingsDevelop key buyer relationships (and distributor partner relationships if applicable) with all strategic accountsDevelop strategic trade spend plans by key retailer and partner with BUILD Sales Operations team to incorporate plans on proprietary trade planning toolProvide key retailer updates on retailer scorecard on a routine basis for all BUILD clientsDrive warehouse velocities through partnership with broker and distributor teams for respective territoryWhat You Should Bring To The Table3+ years of CPG Industry Experience in Sales, Marketing, or similar functionsMust have experience with Publix including buyer relationships and comprehensive knowledge of the submission processSyndicated data comprehensionOffice & Outlook proficiencyExperience working with National distributors, National Retailers, and managing broker partnersEffective communicator and strong presentation skills for both virtual and in-person meetingsA demonstrated competency in multitasking and problem-solving with a focus on meeting deadlinesExtremely organized and detail-orientedPreferred experience with some of these retailers, including buyer relationships and comprehensive knowledge of the submission process: Central Market, HEB, Harris Teeter, Ingles, and United.Prior management and understanding of some of the following channels: Club, Drug, C-store, Mass, Ecomm etc.Perks16 days of PTO11 paid company holidays per year2 paid volunteer days per year3 months fully paid parental leave (regardless of gender)Medical, dental, and visionPaid company life insurance401k with company matchSummer hours (half-day Fridays from Memorial Day thru Labor Day)Work from home flexibility
