Our solutions include data center networking and storage, enterprise and mainframe software focused on automation, monitoring and security, smartphone components, telecoms and factory automation.Job Purpose:The FTC NPI Wafer Fab Planning role is an extremely important function as this position supports WSD's NPI efforts to win business and keep the fab full now and into the future. The NPI Wafer Fab Planner is responsible for supporting work activities related to product and technology growth. This role communicates with multiple organizations and hierarchies. The NPI Wafer Fab Planner takes a lead role in achieving and reporting of on-time delivery, NPI planning process documentation, and NPI planning process improvements.Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:Supports International NPI Design Team via monitoring of work in process (WIP) to troubleshoot & minimize delays impacting delivery schedule. Monitors and escalates lot holds as needed.Reacts to changes in direction by NPI Design Team regarding needed process changes or delivery destination revisions, etcExecutes starts and shipments as defined by NPI Design and/or Internal Fab Engineering TeamsCommunicates with customer base where immediate solutions with product lots are not available.Maintains several FTC Internal business systems in support of NPI, Engineering, and Production requirementsGenerates daily/weekly/monthly reports to communicate NPI Wafer Fab KPI's to various stakeholders.Attends various meetings as needed to support NPI and FBC team members.Responsible for various administrative activities related to part life-cycle from design to production.Executes daily customer requests per established business processes. Flexible with off hour support. Relays relevant information to management regarding potential delivery concerns.Provides back-up support to FBC TeamStrong problem-solving, cross functional, attention to detail, quantitative skills.Organized, self-starter, and strong sense of ownershipEducation and Experience:8 to 12 years of NPI and/or production planning & and/or related experience.Possess a working knowledge of manufacturing principles, particularly in the semiconductor industry.Bachelor's degree required, Business or Industrial Engineering preferred.Strong knowledge, understanding and practice of MRP principles.Strong influencing, communication, and presentation skill setIntermediate or Advanced level of experience in Excel.
