Planner - NPI Wafer Fab (Fort Collins, CO)
COGS have partnered with a multi billion dollar, fortune 500, leading semiconductor manufacturing company in their search for a Planner - NPI Wafer Fab in their Fort Collins, Colorado location.
The salary for this position is up to 135K Base DOE and the position is full time on site in Fort Collins, CO. A bonus and equity is also a possibility with this opportunity.
Your Role
As the NPI Wafer Fab Planner, you'll be a key player in COGS Client's New Product Introduction (NPI) process. You'll ensure a smooth transition for new products through wafer fabrication, maximizing efficiency and on-time delivery. This role requires strong communication and collaboration across teams.
Responsibilities
Partner with the NPI design team to monitor work, identify delays, and ensure timely launches.
Manage production holds and escalations as needed.
Adapt to changes in product specifications or delivery.
Oversee product launch and shipment.
Communicate with clients regarding product availability.
Maintain internal systems for NPI, engineering, and production.
Generate reports on NPI wafer fab KPIs.
Attend meetings to collaborate with NPI and production teams.
Manage product lifecycle tasks (design to production).
Handle daily customer requests and offer flexible support.
Identify and escalate potential delivery concerns.
Provide backup support to the production team.
Qualifications
8-12 years of experience in NPI, production planning, or similar fields.
Knowledge of manufacturing principles (semiconductor industry preferred).
Bachelor's degree required (Business or Industrial Engineering preferred).
Strong understanding of MRP principles.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (intermediate or advanced level).
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive salary range ($100,000 - $135,000).
