We value both heart and head, the diversity of our people, and their experiences because that is how we continue to grow as a leader in our industry and expand our individual and collective potential.Responsibilities:The Geomatics Data Manager will support a national security customer by establishing processes to manage PostGIS and Oracle databases used to store geodetic and geophysical survey data, ensure data adheres to defined standards, and enhance accessibility. Data Management support responsibilities include managing databases, refining attribution, performing queries, migrating data from legacy databases, and identifying and mitigating inconsistencies in data entry. Additionally, the Data Manager will work with customer stakeholders to refine data and file formats to align to relevant data standards or develop new standards.Qualifications:Requirements:5+ years of PostgreSQL (PostGIS) or Oracle database design experience, including relational model building.
Experience migrating data from legacy databases and other digital storage systems.
Experience in data quality analysis, preparation, cleansing, formatting, and transformation.
Knowledge of National System for Geospatial Intelligence (NSG) standards and associated organizations and registries, such as Geospatial Intelligence Standards Working Group (GWG), National Center for Geospatial Intelligence Standards (NCGIS), Information Technology Standards (ITSC), DoD IT Standards Registry (DISR), and IC Standards Registry (ICSR).
Experience with Extensible Markup Language (XML), XML Schema Documents (XSD), Geography Markup Language (GML), and Extensible Stylesheet Language (XSL).
Bachelors or Masters degree in a Science Technology Engineering Math (STEM) field; or military equivalent.
Additional experience can be substituted for education.
Familiarity with NGA systems architecture, including unclassified cloud environments.Security Clearance Requirements:Active TS/SCI with ability to obtain and maintain a Counter-Intelligence (CI) Polygraph.Competencies & Skills:Ability to apply structured processes to enrich or manage data.
Ability to apply GEOINT standards and quality.
Demonstrated ability to perform a variety of data exploitation techniques.
Comfortable working with a team to achieve project completion.
Keen attention to detail
Proficiency using MS Office Suite
