Fund Accountant Description:A leading Private Credit firm is looking to bring on a Fund Accountant to their team in their Miami office. The Fund Accountant will play a critical role in the financial operations of the firm's investment funds, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and transparency.Fund Accountant Primary responsibilities:Responsible for a set of funds that includes recording transactions, reconciling cash and positions dailyWork in various bank accounts that includes cash movements between entitiesPreparing quarterly/annual financial statementsPreparing capital call and distribution noticesMaintaining and updating various schedules relating to the portfolio and fund performance metrics quarterly/annualAssisting in process improvements and implementationsPreparing adhoc reportsPreparing quarterly/annual regulatory filingsPreparing capital account statementsResponding to investor inquiriesAssisting with the annual auditsMust be proficient in ExcelFund Accountant Desired Skills & Experience:The candidate must have 2-4 years of public/private experience.BA/BS in Accounting/FinanceCPA certification or progress towards CPA preferred.Must have experience with financial statements and working in an accounting software, FIS Investran a plusPublic accounting or private equity/debt background a plusWilling to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task
