We are looking for high-energy, driven professional with sound business acumen, strong technical aptitude, and natural sales instincts to join our sales development team as an Associate Sales Manager. Associate Sales Managers are at the core of our marketing and sales strategies, helping us drive market awareness and growth. You will gain experience interacting with clients of all levels, in a variety of industries and across a broad geographical area, and your contributions will fuel our mutual success.

What you'll be doing...

Outbound prospecting of companies, executive decision makers and consultants via research, social media outreach, cold calling and emailing to educate and qualify prospects.

Qualify and follow-up with inbound leads.

Partner with thefield sales team to develop territory-specific strategies and tactics

Research targeted accounts to identify key contacts and critical account information prior to prospecting calls and capabilities presentations.

Learn and continually improve your knowledge of Progyny, industry trends, and the competitive landscape

Manage and log activity in Salesforce.com (ie add contacts, activity, remove duplicates, etcs.) and other sales tools

Collaborate cross departmentally as you help answer and compile information for RFPs, security reviews and other mid sales questions

Develop campaigns and outreach sequences and other mailing campaigns to consultants and prospects

Stay up to date on relevant industry awards and organize lists by account name and sales rep

Manage and help Sales Reps navigate Sales Portal

Schedule and coordinating new hire training and sales training

About you...

BA/BS degree required

Two years of lead generation or experience with a proven track-record of success.

Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills and strong writing skills

Ability to work in a high energy, dynamic sales environment

Proficiency with Salesforce.com (or any other CRM), Microsoft Office, and sales tools such as LinkedIn, Zoominfo

Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.

Team player, results driven, fast learner, self-starter

Familiarity with enterprise health and wellbeing services a plus. Belief in Progyny's mission, required.

Ability to work closely with many people within the sales team and cross departmentally

In compliance with New York City's Wage Transparency Law, the annual salary [wage] range for NYC-based applicants is: $75,000 - $85,000. There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/ required. Progyny offers a total compensation package comprised of base salary, cash bonus, and equity.
