Positions are typically 7 hours per day, Monday - Friday, during the regular school year, with the possibility of working during summer recess.

WORKING CONDITIONSENVIRONMENT:Work is performed in a school bus environment. Work requires driving in various road and weather conditions. Work may require exposure to noise. Potential hazards involve traffic hazards when stopping traffic and escorting students across streets; adverse weather conditions while driving a school bus; exhaust fumes; and contact with abusive or uncooperative individuals.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Physical demands include lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling heavy objects; sitting for extended periods of time when operating a transportation vehicle; walking and stepping up/down or standing for extended periods of time; bending at the waist; hearing and speaking to exchange information.SELECTION PROCEDURES
