Markets for CSG include smart home, automotive connectivity, industrial automation, smartphones, wearables, gaming and other high-growth IoT connectivity market segments.We are recruiting for a Project Manager (PM) within Qorvo’s Connectivity Components Business Unit (CCBU) to be accountable for successful execution of product development for Mobile WiFi ComponentsRESPONSIBILITIES:The Project Manager (PM) will:Develop project plans, schedules, risks and budgets, aligning business unit goals and customer needs with Design, Engineering, Product Line Management and Quality cross functional teamsDrive the execution of programs and work directly with the Product Line Managers to meet schedules and remain in budget while exceeding customer expectationsTrack Project Milestones, Deliverables, Change requests, Report on status, blockers, critical path, risk mitigation and impacts to project planLead cross functional team meetings, facilitate communication- and execution, work with managers to address bottlenecks, resource balancing issuesCollaborate with functional managers to address issues and conflicts in the projectDrive build plan including ordering, coordination and facilitating prototype builds for sampling and project executionManage distributed project teams and efficient meeting management according to standardsAnalyze impact of changes, bottlenecks, issues encountered in the projectQUALIFICATIONS:Technical Degree at the Bachelor’s level is required; Masters and/or MBA desired8+ years experience working in program/project management requiredExperience with project management aspects of PMI: Risks, Mitigation, Schedule, Budget, Supply chain, ReadinessExcellent written and verbal communication skills requiredAbility to coordinate discussions and action plans with internal engineering, operations, and business unit teams required5 years of experience in the semiconductor, or RF communication components industry required3 years of experience with RF semiconductors or RF modules preferredProficient with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Jira, and SAP systemsUnderstanding of Lean concepts or Six Sigma is desiredProven ability to influence and drive internal suppliers and customers and cross-functional teams without formal authority
