The opportunity:
Under limited supervision, the Business Systems Analyst supports IT goals and objectives by working closely with Project Managers, IT Managers, and business stakeholders to ensure application development and implementation meets the business requirements. Works with internal and external off-site Project Managers, Technical Designers and Developers, and other key stakeholders to identify and document requirements and use cases in a manner that is accurate and meaningful to business and IT professionals.
How you will contribute:
Work with Project Managers and other key stakeholders (IT Managers, IT Designers and Developers, and Subject Matter Experts (SME’s)) to develop and document requirements and use cases in a manner that is clear, accurate, meaningful, and understood by all.Facilitate IT and business use case walk-thru sessions.Work with IT and business users to evaluate options and recommend solutions in line with IT and/or business architecture.Identify and implement process improvements.Prepare documentation using tools such as Visio, Word and Excel.What you will bring with you:
BS or equivalent and 2 years experience in insurance field, or equivalent combination.Excellent interpersonal, listening, oral and written communication skills.Excellent analytical skills, as well as accuracy and attention to details.Demonstrable ability to interact effectively with people at all levels from multiple areas of the company.Understanding of IT environment and architecture.
