About Our Client:
Our client is an AI Startup, reshaping storytelling and personal development for startup founders.
Role:
Work directly with our founders, industry experts, and the tech lead.Apply your full-stack engineering skills to build world-class software products.Contribute to the integration of various APIs and develop advanced systems.Assist with ensuring a deep commitment to tech ethics, including data privacy, fairness, and security.Support the scaling of our infrastructure securely and efficiently.Manage computational resources and ensure our product complies with legal standards.Use your deep curiosity for storytelling, self-actualization, and personal growth to contribute to something groundbreaking.Play a key role in building our engineering organization and tackling challenging engineering problems.
What you have:
Demonstrated ability building world-class software products.Examples: enterprise products with slick UX (Brex, Mercury, Stripe), world-class consumer software products (Airbnb, Figma, Notion).Experience with AI or large language models.5+ years total experience in product-focused full-stack engineering.Google level would be L5-L6: Senior or Staff.Your focus can be either frontend or backend heavy - but some generality and ability to move across the stack is required.Experience with UI/UX and product design is very helpful, and required for those with a frontend focus.
Bonus Points:
Early engineer at a hyper-growth startup.Experience at world class product organizations (Notion, Figma).
Location: We're a remote first company but are looking for these first hires to be in the Bay Area so we can connect in-person as needed to collaborate. This is a pretty fluid process so it could be anywhere from once a week to once a month.
Salary range: $140,000 - $180,000 base.
