Our building is in a central, easily accessed Culver City location with lots of parking, an immaculate, comfortable environment inside including a cafe and free snacks, and a calming setting with trees and a nearby park outside. We have a

The salary for this position is $75K - $85K, depending on experience.Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for the financial processing of transactions for a group of 13 entities in the healthcare industry. We’re looking for someone who can jump in with both feet to help ensure procedures are followed and accounting tasks are completed for all 13 entities, which will include daily bookkeeping, record keeping, billing, journal entries, account reconciliations, and preparation and maintenance of account supporting schedules.To be a good fit for the Senior Staff Accountant opportunity, you will have:A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field plus three years of relevant accounting experience, or an associate's degree plus five years of relevant experiencePrevious experience as a staff accountantProficiency in and experience with Microsoft Office programs, particularly including Word (such as to complete mail merges) and Excel (including the ability to build moderately complex spreadsheets with formulas, pivot tables, VLookup, sumif, etc.)Excellent knowledge of full-cycle bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, and standardsExperience preparing and maintaining a General Ledger, completing P&L and balance sheet analysis, and a strong understanding of GAAPExperience preparing a balance sheet roll-forward schedules and completing P&L reconciliationsStrong analytical skills, critical thinking, and the ability to solve complex problemsCentered Health
