We automate site security and asset monitoring in environments with limited infrastructure.About the RoleBarn Owl is looking for a highly motivated Customer Support Specialist to support our internal Support, Success, and Sales teams. Barn Owl’s commitment to exceptional customer support and service sets us apart from our competitors. This role is key in ensuring we maintain the highest level of customer support as we scale.You will be the inside eyes and ears for our growing customer base. You will work to understand and maintain customer-facing content for current and prospective customers. The right candidate will be driven, eager to listen and learn, and a natural problem solver. Technical interest and aptitude will be essential in becoming a product expert in Barn Owl hardware and software products.ResponsibilitiesAnswer Tier One & Two customer support calls, emails, and chat questionsDocument all communications in Gorgias Support SuiteEscalate support and sales opportunities when appropriateImplement Customer Support strategies in cooperation with Director of Customer Success & SupportCapture key content ideas for distribution via email, website, or social mediaExercise composure, resilience, and flexibility as our business grows and support volume changesRequirementsCommitment to follow-through on tasks and customer responsesBased in one of these states: CO, UT, MA, NJ, PAExcellent communication, phone skills, and attention to detailAbility to become a product expert (hardware and software)Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred), High school or equivalent (Required)Customer Service Experience: 1 year (Preferred)Familiarity with Ranching or Farming (Not required, but a big plus!)Schedule: 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. MST, Monday to FridayWhat you getSalary & Compensation: $40,000-50,000Work From Home from any of these states: CO, UT, MA, NJ, PACompetitive employee benefits including health insurance, stock options, 401k with employer contribution, and generous time off programs - 2 weeks minimumA great team orientated start-up environment where everybody has a voice, cares about your professional growth, and everybody sells!About our teamThe Barn Owl team is united by the challenge of making great products that solve real problems.
