Estate Planning Attorney

Our growing elder law and estate planning law firm has an opening for an experienced Estate Planning Attorney to handle matters from engagement through closing, including facilitating client design meetings, document preparation, and client review meetings. This position will operate primarily from our Clear Lake office. If you enjoy working with clients, understanding their needs, and giving them the peace of mind that comes with estate planning, this position is for you. Responsibilities: • Work collaboratively as part of a team. • Meet with clients and prepare comprehensive, customized Estate Plans. • Work with third-party professionals such as Financial Planners, CPAs, and Insurance Agents. • Manage all aspects of a client's matter from engagement to close. • Overseeing the work of junior legal team members (Paralegal and/or Legal Assistants) assigned to assist with production and delivery. Qualifications: • Licensed member of the Texas State Bar. • 3+ years experience in Estate Planning, Probate, and Trust Administration. • Strong research and writing skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, experience with Wealth Counsel a plus. • Excellent organizational skills. • Background and experience assisting clients with tax matters a plus. • Experience managing a full caseload . Compensation: $100,000+
