Our growing elder law and estate planning firm is seeking a well-qualified senior attorney who can lead our busy estate planning department. This position involves working directly with clients to design personalized estate planning. To be considered, you should have solid estate planning experience and be willing to mentor our newer associates. Your excellent communication and writing skills will come in handy as you thoughtfully position our clients toward favorable outcomes. You will be involved from engagement through closing, including supervising associates and paralegals. Supervise and mentor lower level attorneys in proper conflict resolution techniques.Keep apprised of changes to local, state, and federal statutes and laws.Meet with clients to understand their estate planning needs, document with detailed notes the client information and meeting content, strategize and make recommendations, and prepare comprehensive customized estate plans.Work collaboratively as part of a team.Manage all aspects of a client's matter from engagement to close.Maintain strong knowledge of tools and legal resources for excellent estate planning.Oversee the work of others on the team, including junior attorneys, paralegals, and legal administrative assistants; ensure meeting due dates and achieving high level of client satisfaction.Performance management, including coaching and counseling other members of the estate planning team.Qualifications:

Member of state and local bar associations in good standing.Work independently while handling a heavy caseload.Five years of experience as a senior associate in the legal industry.Persuasive writing skills and verbal communication skills are critical, along with time management and interpersonal skills.Completion of a 4-year bachelor’s degree, as well as 3-year law degree from an accredited law school.Licensed to practice in Texas and member in good standing of the Texas State Bar.5+ years of experience working in estate planning.Strong research and writing skills.Background and experience assisting clients with tax matters a plus.Experience managing a full caseload.Experience in managing and supervising others.Compensation:

$130,000+
