Working closely with an AMAZING Construction and Developemnt company local to Coral Gables seeking the next support on their accounting team due to GROWTH .

Project Accountant Responsibilities:
Report to the Head of Accounting and Reporting, the CFO, and the CEO or other project managers as needed.Create and review budgets, including staffing, work plans, and fee structures.Provide timely financial reports, budgets, and project forecasts to project managers and clients.Prepare pre-billing reports for project managers' review.Generate actual costs, working capital, and tax reports.Monitor receivable income and assist project managers with collections.Issue invoices and purchase orders, and process consultant, subcontractor, vendor, and supplier bills.Ensure steady cash flow by generating, auditing, and sending invoices promptly.Update contracts as per client requirements and report associated budget amendments.
Project Accountant Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in accounting or a related field.2 + years of experience as a project accountant or in a similar role.Proficient in development/project accounting systems.Ability to report to the Accounting Supervisor and other project managers.Advanced proficiency in managing general ledgers, journal entries, and account reconciliations.Exceptional ability to prepare project budgets, financial forecasts, and tax reports.Extensive experience in project invoicing and billing.In-depth knowledge of accounting best practices.Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration and client services.
